Having been immersed in the art of wedding cinematography for over a decade, our passion lies in crafting captivating storylines that revolve around people. Maven Film uses a simplistic filming approach that allows us to be discreet, keeping our equipment to a minimum to avoid distractions so the guests can focus wholeheartedly on what truly matters: the moments.
We have found that this way of shooting helps us blend into the crowd and really absorb everything around us: the setting, the atmosphere, the sounds, and, most importantly, the emotions, translating our experience into beautiful, meaningful footage.
In our editing process, we draw inspiration from the narrative strength of documentary films, particularly their use of audio snippets, where the most powerful element is always the story. Our goal is to craft timeless and enchanting wedding films—something that people will enjoy watching again and again.

If you are considering having a videographer for your wedding day, let this be your sign: DO IT!! We were unsure if we wanted to have a videographer on our wedding day, but oh man!! We are so glad we did!! We got married in July and have watched our video countless times and I still cry every time!!
Maven Films captured our wedding day in the most beautiful way!! We are forever grateful for the outstanding video of our magical day!! Ian did a great job of listening to our wants for our wedding video and did them all and more!! Not only do we have a teaser video, highlight video, ceremony video and speeches video, but they are all movie quality!! One thing we loved most about Maven Films was that during the day, they were able to capture all the important moments to us, but it didn't feel like they were getting in the way.

Ian and his team were simply amazing. Ian has been super professional and kind since our first meeting and was always available to speak and clarify all our questions. On the day of the wedding Ian and his team came right on time. What truly impressed me is how non-invasive all the shots were, so much that I thought whether he was able to capture everything. I was immediately proven wrong when I saw the end result, he created a masterpiece, capturing every single key moment, and at the same time getting the soundtrack and vibes we wanted completely right. The colours are magnificent. He created a movie of our wedding a one of a kind one and I cannot stop watching all the clips he created for us. Maven films are definitely the best in the business.
